Program Description
Call 2 Action gives at risk youth the opportunity to learn fundamental concepts necessary to launching their own business. By inviting successful entrepreneurs, guest speakers, and incorporating field trips and seed funding, Call 2 Action strives to show youth alternate pathways to success.
Student’s will finish the 2 module course with a fully articulated business plan and newfound knowledge about available resources in the community. Through the completion of the course, student’s will have the opportunity to develop their business plans step by step, meet successful multi-millionaires who will serve as mentors, and compete for seed funding or college scholarships to continue entrepreneurial studies in an accredited university.
Eligibility Requirements:
If any of the guidelines below are compromised, the student may be released from the Call 2 Action Program
- Student must be at least 14 years old at the start of the program (unless granted permission from parent/staff).
- Student may not miss more than three total Call 2 Action sessions.
- Students may not be tardy to more than nine Call 2 Action programs.
- Stealing, bullying, fighting, cheating, or negative altercations in or outside of school.
