Move and Groove

The Chapman Partnership houses homeless families with children, who are actively seeking employment, for up to 90 days. Children (of all ages) in the facility attend public school during their stay and participate in after-school activities in the Chapman Partnership resource center.

The Little Lighthouse’s Move and Groove program is a hip hop inspired dance class to provide a space for self expression for children of all ages while encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Volunteers will assist in dance classes and ensure the children learn the routines. Children will have monthly performances to demonstrate what they have learned.
