Harley Lippman

Harley Lippman is the CEO and founder of Genesis10, an IT consulting and staffing firm established in 1999. USA Today reported Harley as among the top 50 CEOs to work for. Genesis10 was named a top U.S. Staffing Firm by Staffing Industry Analysts, and earned recognition as one of the top 25 U.S. companies for work/life balance as well as Best Leadership Team.

In 2022, Harley was appointed to the USAID Middle East Partnership for Peace Committee (MEPPA) by President Biden. MEPPA is the largest investment by the U.S. Congress in peace-building in the Middle East, fostering economic, social, and political connections between Israelis and Palestinians. It aims to serve as a foundation for joint economic ventures, fostering tolerance, and ultimately coexistence.

In 2009, Harley was appointed by President George W Bush to serve as a member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad and has been reappointed by every president since. In this role, Harley funded efforts to find mass graves across Poland where Jews were murdered and buried, an overlooked aspect of the Holocaust (New York Post article). Harley has discovered and paid for over 30 memorials to be erected to give these people some honor and dignity in their death. These efforts to preserve Jewish heritage were formally recognized in 2023 by the Prime Minister of Poland. In May 2019, Harley was selected as an honoree for Jewish Heritage Month in Washington D.C. For three consecutive years, Harley has served as grand marshal for the Celebrate Israel Day Parade in New York City.

Harley is a Trustee of the Washington Institute, was a member of the Political Leadership Council and Executive Committee of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and a Former Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Jewish congress. He also previously held senior positions with the Anti-Defamation League.

Harley holds advisory roles at academic institutions, serving on the board of Yale University’s School of Management and Columbia University’s Graduate School of International and Public Affairs. In England, Harley is a member of Oxford University’s Eastern Mediterranean Programme [St. Antony’s College] advisory board. He serves as a council member at the Brookings Institution.

Harley is the sole supporter of a Cambodian orphanage. He has put over 30 children through college. Harley built Children First as an educational center located near Phnom Penh. For many years, Harley has chosen both an Israeli and a Palestinian student to fund their studies at Yale University’s Business school, choosing two different students each year.

Forbes recognized Harley as “a great example of ‘soft power’ in Washington” and went on to say, “He is one of the few people who maintain a good relationship with both sides of the aisle and has a reputation for being highly effective.” Internationally, this has led Harley to meet with world leaders that include President Biden, The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, among others, to advance U.S. Foreign policy in a bid to build better, more peaceful relationships amongst Middle Eastern nations.

Harley is a regular commentator on major American networks (MSNBC, FOX, NEWSMAX, CNBC, among others) as well as Arab, Chinese, Egyptian, and Swedish TV. He speaks on issues related to the Middle East, workforce development, US politics, and the economy.

Harley has written several articles on foreign policy for Newsweek, The Hill, and other publications.
