Craft Night

Looking for a program where you can leverage your creative mind?

Volunteer with the Little Lighthouse Foundation’s (The Little Lighthouse Foundation) Craft Night at Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS). CHS is a shelter for children that have been removed from their parents care and their homes due to poor domestic issues (abuse, neglect, etc). Children may stay at CHS for several days or up to a year depending on their specific situation. Children range in age from newborns up to the age of 12.

Visit our online volunteering calendar to register for Craft Night.

The Little Lighthouse Foundation volunteers interact with CHS children in a variety of activities including, arts & crafts, sing-a-longs, group games, and more. Program activities change each month, and are led by an The Little Lighthouse Foundation Chapter Leader. The Little Lighthouse Foundation also provides a healthy snack and beverage for children during the session, and the children keep any completed projects. Craft Nights occur from 6:00 pm – 8:00pm during scheduled weekdays.
