Adopt A Floor
The Adopt-A-Floor (A-A-F) program involves volunteers adopting one or several of the hospital’s patient units;
working with children living with a variety of chronic illnesses such as Cancer, Sickle Cell, and solid organ transplant. The group plans events 2-3 times a month, based on the needs of the children’s unit. Little Lighthouse volunteers work directly with the patients by playing games, reading and engaging with them in arts and crafts projects. LLF brings in special events as well, including but not limited to themed parties, holiday celebrations, magicians, & balloon artists!
